**Responsibilities**:

- The Project Financial Controller must work with available tools to formulate and track Program & departmental budgets along with actual costs, including Client effort, equipment usage, procured resources, etc.
- Must analyze cost run rates and variations to extrapolate/forecast total costs, as well as report findings to the Program Management, project office, and any financial oversight governance
- Provide detailed guidance to Project Managers on project budget planning, forecasting, resource cost tracking, financial planning processes and detailed cost centre cost analysis
- Proactively and continuously contribute to the overall PMO process improvement, adherence to agreed planning processes and standard tools.
- Support What-If scenario analysis with respect to FVA trends, variances, and options to support timely & effective management decision making
**Your Merits**:

- Proven experience in a similar Project Financial Controller type role with experience working in a matrix environment and managing a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience of managing budgets in a Telecoms environment, or otherwise in an environment that demonstrates an expert level of financial tracking and management (e.g. Finance/Banking/Equivalent IT background)
- Degree/Diploma level education or relevant professional related qualification
- Minimum 5 years of working experience
- Strong planning and financial budgeting experience
- Advanced user of MS Excel with respect to the construction and management of financial models and/or budgets, and in terms of generating reports and analysis of financial data.
- Knowledge of finance/controlling processes and tools and best practices
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively with stakeholders of all levels
- A good team player, able to drive rather than be driven, able to facilitate success across both immediate & matrix team environments
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- A quick & continuous learner
Contract length: 12 months
