**About the role**

**What you'll be doing**
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers from Malaysia, Singapore, China, and other regions.
- Conduct research to ensure the best quality and cost-effectiveness of products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to meet the company’s procurement requirements.
- Handle purchasing processes on platforms such as Taobao, Alibaba, or similar.
- Ensure all purchases comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Monitor the delivery process to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Resolve any issues related to shipment delays or quality discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analyses.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B or retail industries.
- Experience with Chinese e-commerce platforms like Taobao is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with international suppliers.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is a bonus.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is desirable.
