**Job Requirement**
- To provide updates on sales related activities such as reviews of daily business trends and competitors’ activities/performance, visit key personnel, sales projects/sales trips and incoming groups.
- Prepare annual marketing plan for the Hotel which includes total room revenue budget i.e. occupancy, budget as it relates to market segments and geographical markets, advertising and business plans, action plans to address both market and geographical segments, implements action plans and reviews monthly with team members and initiates appropriate strategies by reviewing key and potential supply markets and provides recommendations to Director of Sales for approval.
- Monitor Sales Account and reviews feedback for necessary actions to ensure that frequency call plans are adhered to.
- Ensures proper positioning of all rate categories to facilitate contracting by Sales Manager and other team members in securing maximum business by setting wholesale, corporate rates for Hotels, submits rates and rationale to Director of Sales for approval, reviews with Sales Manager prior to contracting trips on strategies to maximize hotel’s feature, builds and enhances rapport by meeting up on site and during sales visitations/tradeshows.
- Constantly enhances Hotel’s promotional collaterals to facilitate effective sales.
- Jointly explores business opportunities for incremental revenue.
- Obtain business for F&B outlets and rooms through aggressive sales.
- Keep an accurate record of sales calls made for future reference and control purposes.
- Maintain contact with major clients to ensure that they are satisfied with the service they are receiving from the Hotel and to bring any adverse comments to the attention of the management.
- Establish contact with local travel agents and companies who could bring business to the Hotel. To start work on a detailed list of potential clients, companies, charities, schools, sport clubs, women’s association, professional club, etc.
- Adapt a focused and planned approach to the Corporate Market Segment
- Work closely with other Market Segments together with Banquet Sales to secure leads and follow-up to secure business for banquet revenue
- Develop suitable call patterns to ensure regular coverage for all major Corporate Accounts
- Effectively maintaining a proper portfolio of Key Accounts of designated Industry Coverage.
- Total knowledge of hotel & surroundings and also overall business environment.
- Being familiar with Budgets and Forecast of hotel and suggesting new ideas.
- Organize sales blitz to new areas, both industrial and office blocks, to tap for potential business.
- Service outskirts areas of corporate accounts either monthly or once in two months (depending on the areas/potential).
- Handle enquiries and coordinate with banquet function. Quotation letters should be sent out promptly within 24 hours.
- Entertain potential guests to solicit for business whenever necessary.
- Assist the ADOS in training the Sales-Coordinator and assist in the preparation of the Annual Marketing plan.
- To assist and participate in all promotion and festive functions held in the Hotel and attend to the guest needs as and when necessary.
- Agree on job descriptions and sales plans including specific and measurable objectives with each manager.
- Concentrate on opportunities for creative selling, truly incremental business divided by business sources category such as travel trade (tour operators, travel agents, booking agencies and carriers), government, offices and organizations, semi-government bodies, embassies/consulate, associations, institutes and sporting organizations and commercial organizations.
**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
