**Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed analysis of academic staff’s learning needs to inform department’s programme offering
- Plan, develop and lead programmes for academic staff development in curriculum design, pedagogy for teaching and engaging students in face-to-face and online environments
- Support team members in developing and delivering training programmes which embed and model sound pedagogical approaches
- Teach on the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice to be offered by the department; this includes developing contents and learning activities, assessment tasks on the course site and maintaining the course site
- Develop and curate e-learning contents on important topics in teaching, learning and assessments as a resource to Sunway University academics
- Contribute to activities that support academic programme development and delivery, including quality review and enhancement initiatives

**Requirements**:

- At least a Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education, Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, or related fields
- Membership of and/or attainment of professional recognition of teaching, for example Fellow / Senior Fellow of Advance Higher Education (HE) would be an added advantage
- Strong pedagogical knowledge and skills related to developing and supporting adults and young adults
- A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in higher education setting, including successful experience in adoption of technological tools for teaching, learning and assessment, on face-to-face and online environments
- At least 3 years in educational development role which involves supporting higher education academic staff in developing their pedagogical knowledge and skills for enhancement of students’ learning experience
- Ability to develop and deliver formal and informal programmes/activities for teaching development
- Experience in using Blackboard, Open Learning and other learning management system
- Knowledge and experience in quality assurance processes by Malaysia Qualifications Agency
- Strong orientation towards task accomplishment and delivering outcomes to tight schedules
- Excellent analytical reasoning, problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with ability to exercise diplomacy and tact and maintain confidentiality
