Senior Manager – Business Development & Operations

El Madkhal Sdn. Bhd. (Islamic Learning Application)

El Madkhal is an Islamic EdTech company dedicated to delivering authentic, accessible, and impactful Islamic learning for the ummah. We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our business development initiatives and oversee daily operations, supporting the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, and improve day-to-day operations.

  • Lead and execute business development strategies to drive user growth, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.

  • Manage and coach internal teams to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with Islamic institutions, potential partners, and NGOs.

  • Review company performance, prepare reports, and initiate continuous improvement in operations and product development.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree is an advantage; minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Islamic law, Islamic studies or related fields.

  • More than 7 years of working experience in a related industry.

  • ⁠A background in Islamic studies and experience in the Islamic education ecosystem are strong added advantages.

  • Experienced in managerial roles, especially in business development, operations, commercial environment or tech/education industries.

  • Hardworking, mission-driven and passionate about contributing to the ummah through Islamic education and technology.

  • Familiarity with the Islamic ecosystem (Islamic finance, halal industry, Islamic education, dakwah, zakat/wakaf) is a strong plus.
