Job Purpose
The Business Development and Corporate Communication Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing business office operations and managing corporate communications to ensure effective internal and external communication strategies.
This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and exceptional communication skills to drive business growth and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Job Scope
Business Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets aligned with the company's objectives and capabilities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support business objectives.
Corporate Communication:
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to effectively convey the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Manage corporate branding, including messaging, visual identity, and brand consistency across all channels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media relations, press inquiries, and crisis communication management.
- Produce engaging content for various communication channels, including press releases, website, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies and messaging
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Min 8-10 years of working experience at a managerial or senior managerial level from a medium to large-sized healthcare organization. Having experience in Business Development, Corporate Communication, and Patient Administration in the healthcare sector would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in business development, corporate communication, or related roles.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with compassion.
- Good at process improvement and change management.
- Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment. Ability to work long hours, often under pressure.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.
