As a **Merchant Marketing Lead**, you will lead all work related to Marketing activities and campaigns conducted in collaboration with merchants. You will also develop and implement marketing strategies to support merchants’ growth through a data-driven approach, continually testing and evaluating the success of campaigns. The** Merchant Marketing Lea**d** will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing teams for a fully integrated approach.

- Increase profitability and success of business through effective, targeted marketing strategies.
- Manage analytics associated with evaluating Cost/Benefit and profitability of merchant marketing initiatives, establishing appropriate metrics for success and demonstrating results.
- Lead & drive merchant marketing programs / projects effectively leveraging different channels especially digital marketing channels (microsite/e-dms, mobile apps, social media, etc) that enhance value to merchants and widen perception of coverage, driving discount business volume and activation goals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, digital marketing, new technologies, competitive landscape etc.
- Assist in development of Ideal Customer Profiles.
- Identify new and under-served market segments to drive business growth.
- Work with cross-functional departments to ensure that marketing initiatives existing accounts are being executed well.
- Identify, test, optimize and scale targeted marketing initiatives and campaigns catered to specific merchant segments.
- Maintain merchant marketing program records, conduct and share post campaign evaluations on a timely basis.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure strong sales and marketing alignment.
- Partner with Product to provide data-driven feature recommendations and prioritisation.
- Document best practices for marketing and sales teams to reference.
- Develop Merchant Core Communication & fulfillment (including onboarding communications, loyalty and engagement communications to be delivered through digital channels).
- Track online programs to ensure they are meeting expectations and optimize as needed; manage program budgets, assess opportunities to improve current processes and reduce cost.
- Provide ongoing report, campaign insights and goal progress to internal and external stakeholders.
**You will need to have/be**:
- Strong Excel proficiency. Fluent in numbers - data (reporting and analysis) and revenue channels
- Business acumen skills with an ability to sell.
- Strong experience with tailoring campaigns and products for customers
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- CRM/marketing automation background
- Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution
- Ability to recognise opportunities and act on it
- Strong creative problem solving to implement solutions within confines of existing resources
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking
