**Job Summary**

Key Role & Responsibilities

1. **Strategic Sourcing & Procurement**:
Identify, source, and procure aggro-commodity products as required by the company, ensuring the best value and quality for business needs.

2. Supplier Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively scouting for new suppliers to enhance product availability and competitiveness.

3. Negotiation & Contract Management:
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality or compliance standards.

4. Inventory & Order Management:
Manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products.

5. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices within the aggro-commodities sector.

6. Internal Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams to assess purchasing needs, align procurement strategies with business goals, and support smooth operations.

7. Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and inventory, including monitoring budgets, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.

8. Problem Resolution:
Address any issues related to order discrepancies, product quality, or delays, working proactively to resolve problems and minimize disruptions to business operations.

9. Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct regular market research to identify potential suppliers, benchmark pricing, and stay informed of industry trends to make strategic purchasing decisions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- **Education Requirements**:A Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing role within the aggro
- commodities import & export/trading industry.
- **Language Proficiency**:Fluency in English and Malay (spoken and written) is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- **Industry Knowledge**:Strong understanding of aggro-commodities products, market trends, and industry-specific regulations.
- **Skills**:Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- **Technical Proficiency**:Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is preferred.
- **Personal Attributes**:Detail-oriented, reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
- **Team Player**:Able to collaborate effectively with others, support team goals, and adapt to changing requirements as needed.

Work Arrangements
- **Working Days**:Monday to Saturday (6 days a week)
- **Working Hours**:Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturdays are 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

- **Salary Range**:RM2,500 - RM6,000 per month depending on experience and qualifications.
