CEO (Logistics / Free Trade Zone)

**Position Summary**:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Free Zone Management Office is responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing operations, and ensuring the sustainable development and growth of the free zone. The CEO works closely with the board of directors, government bodies, and stakeholders to drive economic growth, attract investments, and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the organization's strategic vision, mission, and goals.
- Drive policies and initiatives to attract domestic and foreign investments to the free zone.
- Foster innovation and partnerships to enhance the free zone's global competitiveness.
- Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities to ensure the free zone remains competitive and sustainable.

Operational Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day management of free zone operations, including tenant management, infrastructure development, and service delivery.
- Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage the performance of senior leadership and operational teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the primary spokesperson and representative of the free zone with government agencies, investors, and external stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with local and international businesses to promote investment and trade.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with free zone regulations and guidelines.

Financial Oversight:

- Develop and manage the organization's budget to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
- Oversee financial planning, including revenue generation, cost control, and long-term investments.
- Ensure transparent financial reporting and compliance with audit standards.

Policy Development & Compliance:

- Oversee the formulation and enforcement of policies governing the free zone's operations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Establish mechanisms to manage risks and maintain operational continuity.

Human Capital Development:

- Build a high-performing team by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the organization.
- Drive initiatives to upskill employees and promote professional growth.

Sustainability & Innovation:

- Promote sustainable practices within the free zone to minimize environmental impact.
- Identify and adopt technological advancements to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Encourage the development of green industries and sustainable economic activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields (Master's or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of senior management experience, ideally in free zones, logistics, or trade-related sectors.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and financial management.
- Strong understanding of free zone policies, international trade regulations, and economic trends.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM26,000.00 per month
