Job Description:
Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as an Export Specialist. This individual is an important member of a team that help us deliver on our mission by handling export activities from our manufacturing sites (in Saudi and Singapore) to our customers globally.

This position reports into the Fulfilment Lead (or Logistics Supervisor) of the East Region and is given an opportunity to develop new skills and overcome obstacles each day in a fast-paced environment. As an Export Specialist, you will be working very closely with the Manufacturing site team, regional customer service team, supply team, demand team, and 3rd Party logistics service providers.

As an Export Specialist you will:
Manage and handle daily operation of plant logistic activities

Manage the performance of Logistics Service Providers (LSP)

Conduct Monthly LSP KPI reviews

Regular review of SOP and WI to ensure smooth daily operations

Lead investigation for logistics service-related complaints from external and internal customers.

Support standardizing and implementation of supply chain best practices, processes and procedures across APAC region.

Continuously improve methodology for data analytics and modeling

Collaborate with teammates, support personnel, and stakeholders to evaluate

Balance rapidly shifting priorities through multitasking and flexibility

Maintain positive attitude in the face of customer concerns

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on the ever-evolving service and support our customers require

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

University degree or above, preferably major in Chemical/ Trade

Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in export activities, chemical industry is a plus

Vendor Performance Management

Indent sales order management, SOX Order to Cash management, Incoterms

DG cargo handling, products to be managed would be IBC, drums, palletized containers and isotanks

High sense of responsibility, proactive attitude and independent, good interpersonal skills, communications skills, good English writing & speaking

Microsoft Excel, SAP and PBI

Year end, quarter end, month end activities required

Able to speak and write mandarin
