**Job overview**:
The Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for assisting the Director of Admissions to:
1) develop and execute recruitment and admissions strategies and plans in Asia to recruit the high caliber students to the University Graduate Management Education program,

2) analyze and evaluate applicant pool to select the high caliber students for the program,

3) raise the awareness of University Graduate Management Education Program in Asia, and

4) cultivate effective relationship with students, alumni, staff and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure a stream of quality prospective University Graduate Management Education students.

**Job scope**:
**1. Planning & Strategizing**
- Provision to the Director of Admissions in the development and implementation of recruitment and marketing strategies for the University Graduate Management Education program to ensure the highest quality of applicants and students, and achieve the admissions target.
- Develop effective communication strategies to engage prospective and admitted students proactively and raise their awareness and interests to the Graduate Management Eucation program.

**2. Development of Admission Process and Other Activities**
- Develop, implement, manage and improve the recruitment and admissions activities and processes to ensure efficiency and high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage and provide timely respond to applicant and admit queries to ensure high level of engagement before matriculation.
- Manage and execute the evaluation process (reading and interviewing)
- Deliver a range of conversion activities and manage the post-admissions process to ensure efficient yield management.
- Manage Student and Alumni Admissions committees
- Manage effective & collaborative working relationships with various Universitydepartments including Registry, Marketing, Career Development, Program, Finance, Hospitality & Events, etc.
- Develop department’s related policies, trainings, and selection processes (documenting user trainings, processes related to the Admissions Committee, Student Adcom, and Alumni Adcom)
- Provide delivery in releasing admissions decisions

**3. Organize Seminars and Attending Education Fairs**
- Generate the creation, execution, delivery and coordination of recruitment events, including on-campus and off-campus information sessions, Graduate Management Education tours, webinars, program preview events, as well as Admit Weekend (locally and internationally)
- Represent University in various international organizations and conferences (GMAC Asia Pacific conference etc.)

**4. Supervise Admissions and Marketing Staff**
- Train the admissions staff to implement and follow the strategies so that the targets can be achieved.

**Job requirements**:

- Master's Degree holder with relevant education line experience
- **At least 7 years of experience in Graduate Management Education admissions, corporate recruiting or related experience.**:

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to be able to handle and respond to the inquiries and guide the students on the documentation and the relevant admission procedures
- **Excellent presentation, and written and verbal communication skills in English. Superior public speaking skills.**:

- Ability to supervise the subordinates whenever there is a need and able to handle the work independently and effectively
- Must have extensive cultural awareness and experience working with diverse individuals.
- Flexibility to work in a changing schedule as per the requirement
- Experience having lived, studied, or worked in different countries.
- **International travel required every 1-2 months for 1 week**
