**Reports To**: Account Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Bookkeeping**:
○ Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

○ Update and maintain the general ledger.

○ Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
○ Process invoices, payments, and receipts.

○ Assist in monitoring accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

○ Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- **Financial Reporting**:
○ Assist in preparing financial reports for management review.

○ Help with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

○ Provide support during financial audits.
- **Data Entry and Record Keeping**:
○ Enter financial data into accounting software.

○ Maintain organized records and documentation for all financial transactions.

○ Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- **Administrative Support**:
○ Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.

○ Support the Account Executive and other team members with ad-hoc financial tasks.

○ Handle routine inquiries related to accounting and financial matters.
- **Compliance and Standards**:
○ Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

○ Stay updated with industry best practices and accounting standards.

○ Assist in maintaining internal controls and safeguarding assets.
- **Additional Responsibilities**:
○ The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

○ The Account Assistant may be required to take on additional tasks and projects as directed by the Account Executive.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**:
○ Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
- **Skills**:
○ Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

○ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Office (especially Excel).

○ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

○ Good organizational and time management skills.

○ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

○ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

**Work Environment**:

- This position is based at Putra Food Industries' headquarters.
- The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
