We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HR Manager to join our dynamic new Malaysian shared service center HR department. This position has a wide varied role and is well suited to an individual who is looking to continue their career in HR and to be part of a global business.
**What You Will Be Doing**:
- The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day HR operations and activities within the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office. This role requires a strong understanding of Human Resources principles and practices, as well as the ability to handle a variety of HR functions with a hands-on approach & execution.
- HR Operations: Take ownership of all day-to-day HR matters, including but not limited to onboarding, HR introduction employee documentation, HR introduction, HR System Execution & Management and Offboarding
- Performance Management: Implement performance management programs and processes to ensure managers conduct the KPI setting, and performance evaluations. Guide and support managers in performance-related matters.
- Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing and resolving employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts. Promote a conducive work environment.
- HR Policies and Benefits: Answer employee questions related to company policies and benefits. Conduct regular audits of new hires' and leavers' documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies. Maintain accurate and organized employee files.
- As part of the wider APAC HR team, you may be involved in HR projects or act as auxiliary HR support to other markets within Asia Pacific (as required)
**Who We Are Looking for**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- The ability to independently work on his/her own initiative
- 7-10 years extensive experience in HR management roles, with a strong focus on operational HR matters
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and the ability to deal with difficult situations
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR-related software and tools
