HR Manager

We are seeking an energetic and strategic HR Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of business expansion. This role goes beyond day-to-day HR operations, you will shape people strategies, strengthen organisational capability, and work closely with group-level leaders to support growth across multiple business units.

Summary of the Role

As the HR Manager, you will deliver impactful HR solutions to both retail and corporate teams while championing a culture that attracts, engages, and retains top talent. You will leverage your expertise in talent acquisition, engagement, and organisational development to build a high-performing workforce aligned with the company's mission and future ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

People Champion & Business Partner

• Advocate for employees by understanding their concerns and ensuring access to HR programs, policies, and relevant labour standards.

• Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, organisation design, and capability building.

Talent & Culture Builder

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to support expansion and new business needs.

• Drive engagement initiatives that foster a motivating and high-performance workplace culture.

• Follow through on employee insights and develop interventions that elevate the employee experience.

HR Operations & Excellence

• Support the development and improvement of HR services and processes to ensure a strong, scalable HR foundation.

• Partner with payroll teams by providing accurate employee data and supporting payroll cycles.

• Ensure full compliance with employment laws and HR governance standards.

Change & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional/group HR specialists to roll out new initiatives, policies, and programs.

• Coach and strengthen HR team capability to enhance business partnering effectiveness.

• Manage employee grievances and guide resolutions professionally and in a timely manner.

Requirements


• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, performance development, and compensation.

• Proven experience leading or supervising HR teams.

• Exposure to multi-unit, retail, F&B, or fast-paced operational environments is an advantage.

• Strong organisational skills with a deep understanding of engagement tools, labour laws, and HR best practices.

• Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and visual.

• High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to HR ethics.

• Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage evolving business priorities.

• Empathetic and people-centric, with the ability to connect with a diverse workforce.
