The Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented
HR & Administration Manager
to function as a
sole contributor
for our Human Resources and Administration functions in the Malaysia office. This position is critical for managing all day-to-day HR operations and providing essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations for our small, dedicated team and international event support.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable with both HR and administrative responsibilities and thrive in a
direct, solution-oriented culture
. This role reports directly to the CEO
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources (HR)
- Full-Cycle Payroll Management:
Solely responsible for processing and managing the monthly payroll for all employees, which is fully in-house. Experience with
Payroll Panda
is used by the company. - HR Operations:
Manage all general HR operations including recruitment support, onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of accurate employee records. - Compliance & Policy:
Ensure all HR practices and documentation are compliant with local Malaysian regulations. - Employee Engagement:
Develop and execute initiatives to foster strong employee engagement, with a good-to-have requirement to have more engagement with offices outside Malaysia (Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam).
Administration (Admin) & Facilities
- Office Administration:
Must be okay to support admin work and provide essential general administrative support to ensure the smooth, day-to-day running of the office. - Facilities & Logistics:
Manage office supplies, equipment, and general facilities maintenance. - Staff Support:
Coordinate support for the CEO and other team members as needed.

. - Strong Communication Skills/Great English
: Essential for daily internal and external correspondence. - Comfortable with Admin Work:
Willingness to handle all aspects of the combined HR and Admin portfolio as a sole contributor. - Work Ethic:

confident, independent, takes initiative

. - Must be able to be onsite, working location is in Bukit Damansara.
