**Job Summary**
The Junior Account Executive supports the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing timely financial and management reports. This role is involved in reviewing daily accounting transactions, managing invoicing and payments, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes. While working under the guidance of senior finance personnel, the Junior Account Executive also supervises accounting assistants and contributes to upholding financial compliance and internal control practices.

**Duties and Responsibilities include the following**:
**1. Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting**
- Prepare monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain accurate journal entries and verify entries by the Account Assistant.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts for senior management review.
- Ensure all transactions comply with financial policies and accounting standards.

**2. Manage Invoicing and Payables**
- Manage invoicing process and monitor customer payments.
- Prepare payment schedules for suppliers and ensure timely disbursement.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
- Coordinate with internal departments to confirm payments and allocations.

**3. Support Budgeting and Forecasting Activities**
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly expenditure reports.
- Support preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.
- Compile monthly and quarterly reports for internal management use.

**4. Audit Preparation and Compliance**
- Organize and provide required documents for internal or external audits.
- Respond to audit queries and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in implementing internal control practices to prevent errors or fraud.

**5. Team Supervision and System Use**
- Supervise and guide Account Assistants to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work.
- Operate accounting systems efficiently to retrieve or enter data.
- Extract accounting data for reporting purposes using finance software or spreadsheets.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
