The role "Business Unit Manager": General Job Descriptions: - Start up a sea freight business unit/team within the company with sales function according to company directions. - Lead, train and supervise the team members and be overall accountable for business unit/team profit and loss. - Recruit and manage sales executives within his/her business unit/team. - Develop new sea freight businesses from overseas agents and local clients. - Serve as single contact point to clients to communicate client's shipment requirements to team members to maintain good service standard. - Generate sales activities reports, target report and periodical reports to immediate superior, which is the current General Manager. - Handling any tasks assigned by superior/management from time to time. **Requirements**: - Minimum with 5 - 10 years of experience in sea freight export focusing on USA trades (means Malaysia - USA export freight business) in the customer service, business development or operation areas/functions. - Preferably he/she has experience in leading people and currently holding a supervisory role and above. - Possess good market knowledge, understanding logistics requirements and good networking with ocean carriers. - Well versed in USA trade and understand well on clients' needs, market trends and who are the competitors. - Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia and preferably with fluent Mandarin speaking abilities to communicate with clients in China. **Job Type**: Permanent **Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance Schedule: - Day shift **Experience**: - ea freight export focusing on USA trades: 5 years (required) **Language**: - Mandarin (required)
