Business Operations Manager

**Responsibility**
As Business Operations Manager in Micron’s DRAM Engineering Group Atlanta Design Center, you are responsible for assisting site director for leading and owning site operation management, building engineering work environment to promote design innovation and quality excellency, driving design process improvement work and collaborating with cross-functional teams on change management, resource and schedule management.
Participate in Business Process Alignment and Improvement Projects
- Building and utilizing a network of stakeholders to identify, review and plan for efforts to address engineering team challenges and pain points
- Assist with analysis of current and future processes/systems
- Complete tasks by assigned due date
- Communicate status of tasks
- Report issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to the DEG management team
- Drive documentation and business process improvement.
Ensure a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment
- Comply with company safety, labor, and ethics policies
- Encourage a culture of safety and recognize contributions made to supporting a safe work environment
- Participate in process improvement activities
- Identify errors before they get to the next step
- Provide timely feedback when quality, safety, or ethical issues arise
- Follow and support company-wide and department safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free work environment
**Qualifications**:
- Promote high integrity processes that will enable immediate sharing of problems, issues and solutions with management team
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence others using a variety of approaches with or without positional authority, and to help team members harness and develop strengths in pursuit of successful outcomes.
- Experience leading large-scale projects or programs, working with metrics & analytics, and leading process improvements.
- Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change.
- Ability for independent decision making, and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills
- Strong project management and business process leadership skills;
- Decision making skills using data analysis techniques
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well with peers and managers
- Ability to break down large concepts into small deliverable while not losing sight of the overall strategy.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as
- Operations Management
- Engineering
- Semiconductors
- 5 years’ experience in any of the following:
- Business Partnering
- Operations
- Engineering
- Management/Leadership
- Operations Management
- Production/Manufacturing
