**ROLE**
**Social Media Management**
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
- Create engaging and relevant content, including text, images, and videos format among others to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Schedule and monitor social media posts, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Analyse social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance and engagement including insights for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
**Media Relations**
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists.
- Write, translate and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other media materials.
- Coordinate media interviews and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and provide reports on media exposure.
- Identify and cultivate media opportunities to promote the Association's brand and initiatives.
**Content Creation**
- Develop and create engaging content for various communication channels, including websites, blogs, and newsletters.
- Ensure all content is consistent with the Association's brand voice and messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and develop content.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy and clarity
**Campaign Management**
- Assist in the planning and execution of communication campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance to make sure correct mediums are being used and campaign’s effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives on a regular basis and provide insights for improvements.
**SEO & Website Management**
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to increase website traffic.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and user experience for better search engine ranking.
- Work with agencies and vendors to improve website performance and conversion rates.
**Crisis Communication**
- Assist in the development and implementation of crisis communication plans.
- Monitor social media and media outlets for potential crisis situations.
- Draft, translate and distribute crisis communication messages as needed.
**General Communication Support**
- Assist with the development of internal communication materials.
- Support the organization of events and initiatives including development of marketing material, co-ordination of logistics and on-site execution as required.
- Perform other communication-related duties as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing, ideally in an agency environment.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, etc.).
- Experience with MS Office and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Familiar with graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication (English and Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and Tamil is a plus)
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Meticulous, proactive, team player, independent, analytical and creative.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
