Pre-sales Consultant

Work closely with sales, business development and product team to understand customer requirements
- Prepare bill of material and proposal for the products and solutions
- Actively engage business partners for product/technology update and conduct proof of concepts when requested
- Engage with customers' technical team to obtain the confirmation on the design and proposal
- Prepare reports and attend weekly pre-sales progress meeting
- Responsible for providing technical advice and solutions to new and existing corporate customers on the products and services.
- Responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process with direct and channel customers and to align solutions design with customers’ business requirements.
- Assist in presenting solutions and services/showcasing products to potential clients, and to assist in cybersecurity assessment projects.
- Liaise with principal for product support and to obtain more information in order to consult and help clients overcome any security challenges.
- Presenting and conducting demos/Proof-of-Concepts to potential clients.
- Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within customer firms and to collaborate with sales to ensure these opportunities is effectively covered and advanced.
- Independently present vendor's solution to end users during the customer meeting
- Qualify sales opportunities based on customers' technical requirements
- Independently drive and deliver technical projects
**Job Requirement**:
- Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Computer Science/ IT / Networking or equivalent
- **Preferable 2-4 years working experience in pre-sales in ICT industry.**:
- Knowledge in Server/Hyperconverged/Virtualization, backup software/solution and Security/Cybersecurity (e.g firewall, load balancer, cybersecurity) will be an added advantage.
- Strong presentation skills and technical knowledge.
- Ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently and cooperatively in a team
- Hardworking, initiative and self-motivated with positive working attitude.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
