Account Executive

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. **Full Spectrum of Accounting Functions**
Handle end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, fixed asset and depreciation tracking, and preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
2. **Financial Reporting & Management Accounts**
Accurately prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and year-end management accounts and financial reports, ensuring precision, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
3. **Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis**
Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow projections, and financial forecasts. Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
4. **Internal Controls & Compliance**
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations. Support internal and external audits, tax filings, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for compliance matters.
5. **Receivables & Collection Management**
6. **Billing & Invoicing**
Generate and issue invoices based on meter readings and sales data for customers and dealers, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
7. **Financial Systems & Documentation**
Maintain efficient financial systems and documentation processes for receipts, disbursements, bookkeeping, and budgeting activities.
8. **Intercompany Transactions**
Handle intercompany reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely settlements of balances.
9. **Fixed Asset & Inventory Management**
Assist in stock counts and fixed asset verification to ensure proper recordkeeping and asset control.
10. **Cross-Departmental Collaboration**
Work closely with various departments to ensure timely financial reporting, budgeting alignment, and operational support. To obtain Ringi approvals prior to payments.
11. **Audit & Tax Compliance**
Support the preparation of audit documentation and corporate tax submissions. Handle tax compliance matters, including tax estimation, filing, payment, and responding to tax audits or queries.
12. **Ad-Hoc Projects & Management Support**
Provide support for special projects and perform any other duties as assigned to meet the organization’s operational and strategic needs.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience in a full set of accounts, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Experience with audit processes, financial year-end closing, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS) and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English (and local language if applicable).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
- Team player with the ability to work independently under mínimal supervision.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
