**Position : Assistant Manager, Banquet**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Overseeing the banqueting functions or events from time to time to ensure that every function or event is carried out smoothly and meet the customers’ satisfaction.
- To be responsible for short and long term planning and day-to-day banqueting operations.
- To organise, manage, direct and coordinate banqueting activities in order to ensure a successful function and repeat business.
- To maximise banquet’s revenue and minimise the banquet’s operating expenses.
- To inspect and assist with the setup of function rooms. o Liaising and communicate with culinary and beverage team, engineering team and banquet employees to ensure timely execution of events and exceptional services provided to the customers.
- To ensure that wastage and spoilage of products are maintained at the mínimal level.
- To be responsible for the proper storage and maintenance of all banquet items and equipment.
- To resolve guest complaints tactfully to the satisfaction of the guests and respond promptly to any requests for service.
- To maintain good rapport and relationships with the customers and ensure their continued patronage.
- To welcome VIPs and customers as and when necessary.
- To direct and escort the customers to the various facilities and functions within the hotel.
- To coach and train the banquet team and ensure that standards of guest service is maintained while ensuring that performance targets are achieved.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Early shift
- Flexible hours

All customers and guests are required to wear mask and to follow latest SOP by Ministry of Health Malaysia

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Seri Kembangan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
