**Job Summary**:
A **BIM Coordinator (C&S)** is a professional who oversees and manages Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, with a specific focus on **Civil and Structural (C&S)** engineering disciplines. The role involves ensuring the effective integration of BIM into project workflows for infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- **BIM Management**:

- Coordinate the implementation and execution of BIM strategies for civil and structural projects.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in project deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, project requirements, and company-specific guidelines related to BIM.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Work closely with project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless BIM integration.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings, review clashes, and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the BIM model across disciplines.
- Facilitate the exchange of information between all project team members and ensure the correct data flow and interoperability within the BIM environment.
- **Modeling and Software Management**:

- Oversee the creation and management of accurate 3D models for civil and structural designs.
- Ensure the use of appropriate software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Tekla Structures) for BIM-related tasks.
- Validate the quality of the models, checking for compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- **Clash Detection and Issue Resolution**:

- Run clash detection and resolve conflicts between different systems (e.g., structural, MEP) to ensure the successful integration of all disciplines in the model.
- Document and communicate issues, track resolutions, and ensure the final model is clash-free and constructible.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Prepare and present BIM-related reports, progress updates, and data analysis to stakeholders.
- Maintain records of the BIM process, ensuring all data is accurate and accessible for future reference.
- **Training and Support**:

- Provide training and support for team members in the use of BIM tools and processes.
- Mentor junior BIM team members to improve their knowledge and proficiency in BIM techniques.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure models are developed in accordance with best practices, industry standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications:

- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in BIM coordination, preferably in civil and structural projects.
- Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Tekla, etc.
- Strong understanding of civil/structural design and construction processes.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Tekla, etc.)
- Knowledge of clash detection tools and software.
- Experience with 3D modeling, drafting, and visualization.
- **Communication Skills**:

- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
- **Attention to Detail**:

- Exceptional focus on precision, quality control, and accuracy in the execution of BIM tasks.
