People Operations Specialist

The role is key to ensuring smooth, efficient HR processes across the employee lifecycle covering onboarding, payroll coordination, HR systems, and day-to-day people operations.
As our company continues to grow, this role is essential to support the increasing headcount and evolving needs of our team. They will help scale our internal operations, maintain a consistent employee experience, and ensure our people feel supported at every stage.
By keeping our HR infrastructure strong and employee touch points seamless, this role directly contributes to a thriving, people-first culture that enables the business to grow sustainably.
- Manage end-to-end HR and People operations, including administrative responsibilities
- Facilitate pre-boarding and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless experience for new hires
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Administer employee benefits such as insurance, leave, and claims, while addressing related employee inquiries
- Maintain accurate and updated employee data across HRIS, EOR (e.g., Multiplier), and other relevant systems
- Provide HR support and counsel to employees and managers on various people-related matters
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies, processes, and legal compliance
- Contribute to and drive strategic HR initiatives and special projects
**Requirements**:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in HR Generalist or People Ops roles
- Familiarity with employment regulations especially global countries
- Proficient in Google Workspace (sheets, docs, slides)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion with confidential information
- Experienced and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving start-up environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- A proactive attitude and solution-focused mindset
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with tools like BambooHR/Hibob, Notion, Slack, Multiplier
- Knowledgeable with regulatory and reporting compliance (across diverse APAC region)
