**What a Virtual Account Manager** does at HP**:

- Generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new and existing business and revenue growth objectives by effectively articulating the value proposition associated with HP’s products and services.
- Required to leverage social, digital, video, chat, phone and occasional face to face sales demonstration to effectively reach, sell to and manage HP’s customers.
- Success in the role is determined by a high close rate in generating new and existing business from inbound phone calls and teaming with the respective Enterprise Account Manager (EAM), along with proactive outbound selling through targeted phone campaigns and cold call prospecting.
- Achieve Annual business revenue target and meet profitability expectations
- Build strong client relationships and professionalism representing HP
- Create strong and effective working relationships with all employees of HP
- Complete and deliver sales and forecasting reports and maintain up to date sales data in Microsoft Dynamics
- Ensure compliance with HP values, policies and standards as well as compliance with HP’s standard business code of conduct

**Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess**:

- University/Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven Virtual Account Manager sales experience in the IT industry.
- Knowledge of the market, current IT challenges, competitor behavior and strategy
- Proven capability in hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with many and varied internal and external contacts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
