**Job Summary**:
To manages and directs all human resources (HR) tasks for an organization or company. To sit at the top of the HR department and take the lead when it comes to all human resources matters and functions. Must educate, train, monitor, problem-solve, and ensure company HR policy is followed across all levels of employees. Additional responsibilities include directing and overseeing the hiring, training, and dismissal processes and administering and monitoring benefit programs. Also work with the Plant Manager to strategically plan valuable HR changes and subsequently take action to implement them. Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are a must. As a direct connection to all employees, must be keenly aware of employee relations ensuring they are healthy throughout the organization. Indirectly reporting to HRVP from HQ for all HR related process to ensure the local standard procedures are aligned with global.

**Job Responsibilities / Key Tasks**:

- Continually educate employees on company policies and keep employee handbook current
- Administer or change benefits, health plans, etc.
- Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive
- Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees
- Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected
- Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have
- Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues
- Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws
- Oversee daily operations of the HR department such as attendance / leave records, insurance and training bonds / medical schemes / training and employee records and to maintain it in share folder
- Reviewing and preparing all the salary and other payroll-related documents before submission to the Plant Manager and finance
- Interviewing, preparing offer letters and onboarding arrangements for new hires
- Drive the recruiting planning strategies (e.g., forecasting, short / medium term manpower requirements) to align with, and meet, business demands and HR costs control
- Create and maintain employee personnel files and ensure all records are kept up-to-date
- Keep the HR Data in the global HR Software (SuccessFactors - Employee Central) up to date (as it is the base for monthly reporting’s to the Executive Board)
- Managing the external recruiting agencies
- Ensure HR policies and procedure are consistently administrated and aligned
- Execute change management initiatives across the organization
- Assisting the Plant Manager with administrative support

Job Responsibilities - Expatriate Administrative Responsibilities:

- Obtaining EP and visas for the expatriate (Liaising with Expatriate Agent) and their families if any and to support on arranging accommodation/vehicle & etc locally
- Liaising with the inland revenue department (tax agent) on behalf of expats to ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Establishing, managing, and maintaining vendor/contractor relationships in locally
- Orientating expats on relocating to a new country, the countries customs, opening a bank account, and other onboarding processes.
- Planning for the arrival of expats.
- Providing support to expats when and as required.
- Ensuring that the expat on boarding is aligned with government policies and procedures.

**Job Requirements - Office Administrative**:

- To liaise with the government departments on company matter such as inspection by Bomba (FC Renewal), Local Authority Licensing, Ministry of Health, Department of Environmental, Department of Safety and Health and etc
- To maintain and support on stationery stock control and purchase items
- To take care on stock in pantry and office amenities
- On behalf of the company liaise with the external Security, Cleaning and Landscaping company agreement on the services
- To monitor and negotiate with the appointed corporate hotel on yearly corporate rate renewal
- Planning and support for other country support team on their travelling to Malaysia such as room booking, land transport arrangement and local transport as and when required (To have a good communication and plan on this arrangement to ensure smooth arrangement)
- To support in IT related matter and liaise with ISS team when required

- Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Proven work experience (at least 5 years) as an HR Executive (Lead the department) role, in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience with full cycle recruiting / monthly payroll process
- Well verse in daily HR business top
