**Title**: HR & Compliance Business Partner

**Reports to**: Executive Director

**Role summary**:
Individual contributor role to run strategic and hands-on operational HR independently, while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws, safety regulations, and industry-specific certifications (e.g., Halal, JKKP). This role partners with business leaders to manage people, mitigate risks, and align HR practices with organizational goals.

**Key responsibilities**:
**1) Human Resources**
- Manage end-to-end HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, employee relations, exit management.
- Support workforce planning and foreign worker permit management.
- Partner with Corporate HR to implement training and development programs, drive engagement and retention initiatives.

**2) Compliance & Governance**
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment law, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF).
- Oversee workplace safety and health compliance (JKKP/DOSH).
- Support Halal certification requirements and liaise with JAKIM or other relevant authorities.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and prepare for external inspections.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, with exposure to compliance or legal matters preferred.
- Knowledge of Malaysian labor law, foreign worker regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or food industry is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and advise management.
- Resourcefulness, able to organise tasks effectively and execute independently.
- Languages: Malay, English, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
