Key Responsibilities:
**Food Preparation & Cooking**:

- Assist the Chef in preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and recipe standards.
- Help with the preparation of mise en place, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
- Follow the Sous Chef instructions to execute the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.

**Support Kitchen Operations**:

- Work closely with the Chef to ensure your section is well-organized and running efficiently during service periods.
- Ensure that all dishes from your section are prepared in a timely manner and meet the restaurant's standards before being sent out to guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of your work area, including equipment, tools, and ingredients.

**Plating & Presentation**:

- Assist in the careful plating of dishes, ensuring food is presented beautifully and in line with the restaurant’s high standards.
- Work under the supervision of the Chef e to adjust seasoning, garnishing, and final touches on dishes before they leave the kitchen.

**Learning & Development**:

- Participate in the training and development of junior kitchen staff and kitchen assistants, guiding them through basic tasks and procedures.
- Continuously learn and refine your culinary skills through hands-on experience and by observing and following the guidance of senior chefs.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environments.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong interest in fine dining and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and composure.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in food presentation and consistency.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior chefs.

**Location**
- Beast Bangsar Shopping Centre (Lot - T-06, Level 3, Bangsar Shopping Centre, 285, Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, 59000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur).

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
