The HSE Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment at the construction site. This role supports the HSE Manager in promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, client expectations, and company HSE standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the company’s HSE management system on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead incident/accident investigations and ensure that root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure proper documentation of HSE records, including permits, safety meeting minutes, inspection reports, and incident logs.
- Facilitate and participate in toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness campaigns.
- Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and authorities on HSE-related matters.
- Ensure the availability and proper maintenance of firefighting, emergency, and first aid equipment.
- Monitor and enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and workers on safe work practices.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and coordinate drills and training sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a **relevant certificate** in HSE or related discipline.
- Minimum **8 years of working experience in HSE functions** in the construction industry.
- Must have a **valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Certification** and be **registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia)**.
- Must have undergone **Basic Firefighting Training** and **First Aid Training**.
- Recent experience in a similar role as **HSE Coordinator** in **onshore construction**, particularly involving **fabrication and/or installation** activities, is required.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,220.61 - RM11,601.16 per month
