Key Responsibilities: -Prepare RFQ to appropriate supplier. -Issue PO for direct and indirect purchase. -Select and negotiate best purchase in term of quality, price, payment terms, delivery and services. -Ensure all raw material purchases meet the company specification and certification standard and comply with Malaysia Food Act & Regulation. -Planning and monitoring stock levels according to production schedule to avoid excessive stock or shortages. -Establishes and manages supplier relationship via monitoring supplier performance, assist to evaluate yearly supplier performance. -Liaise with supplier for defect material and therefore request for compensation or replacement. -Identify cost saving to meet company goals on an ongoing basis. -Effective communication with suppliers and inter-department colleague. Job Requirements: -Possess at least Diploma/Degree in Material or Inventory Management or any similar field. -A minimum of 3 year(s) working experience in purchasing/material management/production planning are required for this position. -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Possess good interpersonal and negotiation skills. -Initiative & self-motivation. -Knowledge in ERP will be an added advantage. -Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. -Required language (s) : English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. - Willing to work at Penang Science Park, Bukit Minyak
