**Summary of Main Job Responsibility**:

- To ensure that your kitchen runs effectively, and they have to be experts at ensuring food quality and maintaining kitchen equipment. Prepare and assemble gimbap according to established recipes and presentation standards.

**Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way.
- Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed.
- Study each recipe and gather all the necessary ingredients.
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy).
- Cook food in a timely manner.
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients used in gimbap preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Regularly inspect and maintain gimbap knives, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Take charge of washing while the Dishwasher’s away.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- STPM/Diploma
- Proven work experience as a Chef/Cook
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
- English, Malay
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to serve and undertake various tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM1,900.00 per month

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (required)
