**About the role**
As the Manager - Service Modernization Solutions, you will supervise entry or intermediate level Outside Sales employees. Coordinates outside sales activities and sets day-to-day goals and objectives for outside sales team. Responsible for making necessary changes to processes or standards in operational plans in order to establish outside sales strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Manager - Service Modernization Solutions, you’ll be responsible for:
- Utilizing knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers by advising and guiding on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.
- Present technical information and solutions proposal persuasively and effectively to potential customers.
- Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives. Work closely with client to help them to achieve their ESG target and update to customers any government incentives / policies accordingly.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers (various departments) to understand their needs and preferences.
- Prepare competitive proposals and quotations to secure orders.
- After orders, continue to provide customer support, address issues, and upsell or cross-sell other products or services.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities, develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.
- Keeping track of customer interactions and maintaining proper records in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ease pipeline management and follow up quotation to turn into orders.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.
**Requirements**:

- More than 10 years of working experiences in project or sales with HVAC Chiller, AHU and/or HVAC related industrial products, services, or solutions.
- Having HVAC system controls will have strong added advantage.
- Proven order and sales achievement from previous years of experiences.
- Team oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong self-initiative and motivated driven with minimum supervision but in a structured environment.
**Skills**
- Ability to identify potential leads through various means, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, attending events, and using online platforms.
- Able to establish strong relationships with client by being approachable, responsive, and providing valuable insights to their problems/ initiatives.
- Negotiate payment terms, prices, and contracts to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. To submit proposal and quotation as per agreed timeline.
**KPI Expectation**
- To achieve Purchase Orders, Sales and Profit Margin quarterly and yearly target based on set target.
- Collaboration with the Controls & Rental team (if applicable) to grow market share.
- All quotation should be registered into CRM (Salesforce) and updated on monthly basis.
- Maintain Company standards by ensuring personal adherence to Company policies and practices.
- Take appropriate care to always represent Carrier in a professional manner (in appearance, speech, dress, integrity etc.).
- Always maintain confidentiality regarding Company information and data.
