We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Adaptation Officer** to join our team. If you have a deep interest in disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) programs at the community and organizational levels.
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify areas requiring intervention.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to develop effective DRR and CCA strategies.
- Provide training and awareness to communities on disaster preparedness and climate change adaptation measures.
- Monitor and evaluate DRR and CCA projects to ensure effectiveness and positive impact.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to DRR and CCA activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Disaster Management, Environmental Science, Climate Change, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, or a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of climate change issues, disaster management, and sustainable development.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English (spoken and written).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
