Service Manager

**Service Manager** oversees the service department and ensures high-quality customer service. They lead the team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are done efficiently and to a high standard. They also handle customer concerns, manage daily operations, and work to improve customer satisfaction and service performance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and lead the service team, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews
- Ensure all vehicle servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates on the status of their vehicles
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, and place orders as necessary
- Implement and maintain processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
- Identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations to the management team
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- **Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry**:
- Strong technical knowledge of automobile systems and components
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, and delegate tasks effectively
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
