Service Manager oversees the service department and ensures high-quality customer service. They lead the team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are done efficiently and to a high standard. They also handle customer concerns, manage daily operations, and work to improve customer satisfaction and service performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the service team, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews
  • Ensure all vehicle servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide timely updates on the status of their vehicles
  • Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, and place orders as necessary
  • Implement and maintain processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations to the management team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of automobile systems and components
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, and delegate tasks effectively
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
