Global Business Services (GBS) is the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with outstanding business analysis and insight, enables our customers to focus on AZ’s strategic priorities. AstraZeneca’s Finance function is continuing its transformation journey with the objective of delivering excellence in financial operations.

GBS Business Support, a group under GBS Process and Analytics Services, is a centralised team offering a range of support capabilities and services across the teams in AstraZeneca. The key accountabilities for this role are as follows:

- Support the BAU Production of in-service BI reports and analysis.
- Assisting in the transition into service of new reporting projects, ensuring that appropriate supporting material is in place.
- Facilitate communication between IT and business teams to resolve any technical issues affecting services.
- Participate in ad hoc activities or projects related to the support of our services.
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing service automation.

**Essential Requirements**
- Good in spoken and written English. Other languages such as Mandarin, Malay, Japanese are a plus.
- Proactive and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to take initiative in completing tasks.
- Capable of working independently with guidance when needed, and effective in a collaborative team environment.
- Can interpret business requirements and communicate clearly between business and technical teams.
- Possess basic analytical skills to assess and assign issues to the technical team.

**Desirable Requirements**
- Specific tools experience an advantage: SQL, Power BI, Power Apps.
- SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA knowledge is an advantage.
- Knowledge of finance or accounting is a plus.
