JOB VACANCY

POSITION - LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

LOCATION - BATU MAUNG, PENANG

SALARY - RM 4000-5000

Responsibilities:

- Own the relationship with the logistics service provider
- Establish, maintain communication and building relationships with clients, service providers, custom brokers, carriers, and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods
- Overseeing transportation of goods from one warehouse location to another, ensuring they arrive safely and on time according to the Service Level Agreement
- Manage and coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational activities in the warehouse
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities of the organization
- Work with our 3rd party logistics service provider for warehouse resource and space planning to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
- Prepare timely and accurate billing statements in accordance to warehouse activities handled for each month to meet cut-off periods for company’s monthly P&L closing.
- To perform other ad-hoc activities/assignments by the Management.

Requirements:

- Required skill(s) : Supervisory skill, people management skill and good working knowledge of warehouse operations management, quality management and WMS.
- Preferably 5-6 years of working experience in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in which 2 years is spent in a supervisory or team leader role

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
