**Company Overview**
Our client is a well-established, reputable manufacturer of industrial air compressors and related rotating equipment, serving critical industries such as manufacturing, automotive, oil & gas, power generation, and more. As part of our continued expansion strategy, we are looking for a driven and resourceful **Area Sales Manager** to manage sales activities and grow our customer base within the assigned territory.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sales Development & Prospecting**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through **cold calling, client visits**, and networking.
- Develop and maintain a robust **pipeline of prospective clients** in the industrial equipment segment.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual **sales targets and KPIs**.
- **Customer Engagement & Relationship Building**:
- Build rapport and foster **long-term relationships with customers**, dealers, and key decision-makers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored **solutions and product recommendations**.
- Represent the company with professionalism and in-depth knowledge of our compressor systems and services.
- **Territory & Account Management**:
- Cover assigned geographical area and identify growth sectors.
- Manage and grow **existing customer accounts**, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Work independently to plan and prioritize customer visits, follow-ups, and lead generation.
- **Reporting & Goal Alignment**:
- Ensure all company **sales goals and revenue targets** are met or exceeded.
- Submit timely and accurate **sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback** to management.
- Monitor competitor activities and propose strategies to gain market share.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
- **Minimum 4+ years** of proven experience in **selling industrial equipment** is required.
- Preferably from **competitor or dealer background** in the industrial equipment space.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to **work independently and meet targets**.
- Comfortable with **cold calling**, visiting new clients, and initiating sales discussions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in preparing detailed **sales reports and analysis**.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within assigned region as needed.
