**Operations Manager - Dialysis Center**

The **Operations Manager** at a dialysis center is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the facility while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. This role combines leadership, healthcare administration, and people management to support both clinical and non-clinical functions.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Facility Operations & Compliance**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dialysis center, including scheduling, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure the center meets all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards (e.g. MOH, KPJ/KKM, JCI).
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Manage service contracts, utility coordination, and maintenance of medical devices and infrastructure.

**2. Staff Management**
- Supervise administrative and support staff including front desk, cleaners, technicians, and auxiliary roles.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Manager or Medical Director to align support services with clinical needs.
- Manage workforce planning, staff scheduling, leave planning, and manpower coverage.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires.

**3. Patient Coordination & Satisfaction**
- Ensure a seamless patient journey from registration, treatment, to discharge.
- Address patient feedback, concerns, or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Promote a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for patients and families.

**4. Financial & Inventory Management**
- Monitor and manage operating budgets, cost control, and revenue tracking.
- Maintain inventory of dialysis-related supplies, medications, and consumables.
- Liaise with vendors and procurement for timely supply replenishment.

**5. Administrative Oversight**
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of patient appointments, treatment logs, and center reports.
- Prepare and submit operational performance reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with billing, insurance, and finance departments for smooth claims processing.

**6. Quality & Performance Improvement**
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Support risk management, incident reporting, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure staff adherence to center policies, protocols, and service standards.
