Accounts Administrator

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of the organization's financial activities, including maintaining accurate records, processing payments and receipts, assisting with financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work
collaboratively with other departments to maintain the financial health of the company.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Accounts Payable:
- Process incoming invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain records of all accounts payable transactions.
2. Accounts Receivable:
- Issue invoices to customers and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports and maintain up-to-date records.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements against accounting records.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and the company’s financial records.
4. General Ledger Maintenance:
- Record financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
5. Payroll Administration:
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy of employee compensation and tax deductions.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
6. Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management.
- Ensure financial information is recorded in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
7. Tax Compliance:
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings, including GST returns, income tax, and other required filings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
8. Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team.
- Assist with audits, both internal and external.
- Handle correspondence and ensure the timely filing and retrieval of financial documents.
**Job Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, or in a similar finance-related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Autocount, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, QNE
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Pay: Up to RM3,700.00 per month
