**Job Summary**

The Purchasing Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing food, beverages, operating supplies, equipment, and services for the hotel at the best possible price without compromising on quality. The role ensures timely delivery of items to support smooth hotel operations while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and compliance with hotel purchasing policies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Source and evaluate suppliers for food, beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and other hotel-related requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and credit terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders accurately and on time.
- Ensure all items purchased meet hotel quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate closely with departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, etc.) to understand and fulfill their requirements.
- Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival and resolve any discrepancies, shortages, or quality issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and purchasing records for audit and reference.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly cost analysis and reporting for management review.
- Monitor market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, procurement policies, and financial procedures.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Good knowledge of food & beverage products, hotel operating equipment, and supplier market.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing/ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork spirit.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
