**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain quality standards by ensuring all dishes are prepared to specifications and served at the ideal portion size, quality, and temperature.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations, supporting chefs and kitchen helpers to deliver efficient and profitable food service.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards, conducting regular inspections of storerooms, equipment, and utensils.
- Optimize kitchen costs through portion control, minimizing waste, and managing inventory rotations to reduce spoilage.
- Assist in menu development to align with the restaurant's concept and target market
- Partner with managers to conduct food safety audits and comply with all relevant regulations.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to maintain consistent service standards and enhance their skills.
