**Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Leadership**:

- Provide leadership and supervision to medical lab technologists and laboratory assistants.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the laboratory team.

**Laboratory Operations**:

- Oversee and perform a variety of medical laboratory tests, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality control measures.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of laboratory tests and results.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate with technical staff to address equipment issues promptly.

**Staff Training and Development**:

- Develop and conduct training programs for laboratory staff.
- Support ongoing professional development to enhance staff skills and competence.

**Collaboration with Medical Staff**:

- Work closely with medical professionals to coordinate laboratory services and contribute to patient care decisions.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient diagnostics.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement for the timely procurement of laboratory materials.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
- Stay informed about changes in laboratory regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

**Research and Development**:

- Collaborate with the Laboratory Manager in implementing research initiatives and new technologies.
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory science and recommend improvements.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
