HR Assistant

Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salary computation, allowances, deductions, and bonuses.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other government contributions.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports and payments to relevant authorities within the required deadlines.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salary revisions, benefits, and deductions.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, tax deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies related to compensation and benefits.
- Assist in audits and statutory inspections related to payroll and taxation.
- Keep up to date with changes in payroll regulations, taxation laws, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Attendance - recheck on attendance for non exec level (WH,Q,A,PD,MTN) and submit the summary for total overtime and leave for payroll process, and process meal claim
- Socso - process and maintain the data for pa claim
- Medical card - process and maintain the data for medical card claim
- Canteen - prepare all document needed for audit purpose
- Annual medical fee fund - process cash claim for medical fee,process bill for (GCCM & GCB)
- Monthly report - provide data for leave record (GCCM - ALL) turn over rate(aci & GCCM), medical fees record, overtime record (GCCM)
- referral incentive - recheck and process the refferal incentive
- newjoin - dataentry for newjoin and confirmation data info system.
**Job Requirements**
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and payroll software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems such as SQL Payroll,
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with INFOTECH system for salary purpose and contribution
- Applicants must be willing to work in Pasir Gudang.
