**Key Responsibilities**

1) Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and production capabilities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and actively search for new, reliable suppliers to diversify the supply base.
- Assess suppliers through site visits, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.

2) Procurement Process Management
- Coordinate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels, leveraging material control best practices.
- Implement and oversee material control procedures to reduce stock wastage and avoid stockouts, ensuring smooth production flow.

3) Inventory Management
- Develop inventory control policies to streamline material usage and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Track and analyze inventory turnover and adjust procurement strategies based on demand trends.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize storage and handling practices, ensuring efficient material control.

4) Negotiation and Cost Optimization
- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or delivery times.
- Track and analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive pricing.

5) Risk Management and Compliance
- Conduct risk assessments on suppliers to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure all purchases comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all procurement activities for audit and reporting purposes.

6) Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with other departments, such as Operations, Finance, and Production, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost-savings achieved.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in procurement, material control, or supply chain roles, preferably within semiconductor industry.
- Strong background in material control and inventory management.
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software, as well as the MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities effectively.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to make data-driven decisions

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
