- Conduct housekeeping or remediation of data and/or customers’ records as and when deem necessary and mandated by Management
- Coordinate any regulatory information requests during discussion, meetings and audits
- Ensure immediate reporting and escalation of non-compliance incidences i.e., upon detection via RCSA/CSA/CBR/Independent Reviews (whichever relevant)
- Build a close working relationship with key stakeholders, e.g., PFS Compliance & Operational Risk, Group Risk, Group Compliance (including Financial Crime Compliance), Group Operations (including Legal), Group Internal Audit, Hong Leong Islamic Bank (Shariah-related matters) and other business and functional units (where relevant) in the implementation and enforcement of policies and guidelines
- Work closely and provide guidance to RMOs and CSOMs to drive branch operational control readiness at all times; delivers branch audit
- Educate branches to maintain a high standard of Audit achievement with zero finding.
- Ensure branches comply with Bank’s SOPs and Regulatory requirements i.e. EDD, UBO, STR, AML and Service standards etc.
- Timely reporting of all task and maintain high standard of governance in all reporting
- Identify, review and draft Bank’s Standard Operating Procedures and/or Policies when the need arises
- Work with RMOs/RCGMs to monitor behaviours and activities utilizing data/ info obtained from PFS Compliance & Operational Risks, Branch Operations Support, Disciplinary Secretariat, Group Compliance, Group Internal Audit and other divisions to implement timely corrective actions or enhancement as required
- Undertakes other duties/tasks when assigned by Management from time to time
- Provide administrative support including processing data from the Excel spreadsheet, preparing training materials and arranging training etc
