Indoor Sales Executive- Transport

**Key Activities / Accountabilities**:
- Use company-provided rate guides to approach potential customers with competitive pricing solutions for transport and distribution services.
- Convert inbound inquiries and outbound leads into paying customers by effectively presenting pricing options and service benefits.
- Follow up on all quotes provided, addressing client queries and negotiating to close sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions using company services such as FTL, LTL, distribution, and shunting.
- Work closely with clients to ensure smooth onboarding and provide ongoing support to encourage repeat business.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by focusing on lead conversion.
- Develop strategies to nurture leads and improve conversion rates using customer feedback and market insights.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pricing discussions, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure the seamless execution of transport services and timely delivery for clients.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure correct pricing is applied and invoices are generated accurately.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss strategies, and contribute to overall sales growth.
**Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in logistics, transport, or distribution
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to convert leads into customers.
- Familiarity with rate guides and pricing structures for logistics services.
- Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and deliver customized solutions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
