**Job purpose **:
- Operation Executive is responsible for the running of all the stores located in the Region assigned to him in terms of operations and sales achievement in line with the company’s targets and policies. The aim of the Operation Executive is to maximize profit while minimizing costs. Operation Executive has to ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards, staffs are fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer care standards are met.
- Operation Executive shall be required to deal with human resources, marketing, commercial, logistics, information technology, customer service, audit, administration and finance department on any related issues arise.
- Perform any other duties and tasks assigned to him by the superior and/or the management and achieve the KPI set for him from time to time.
- Perform duties and responsibilities as stated in Manual Operation Procedure.
- Ensure that Supervisors, Promoters and all subordinates under him to perform their work, comply with their respective JD and achieve the KPI set for them.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. **Operational**
- Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning;
- Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning;
- Initiating changes to improve the business, e.g. revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market;
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;
- Responding to customer complaints and comments;
- Attending and chairing monthly area meetings with supervisor;
- Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
- Touring the sales floor 1 outlet per day, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues;
- Lead for opening and closing of stores
- Submitting daily operational progress reports and checklists as required by management, and to highlight to COM and/or the management any problems/issues arising and the action plan to solve the same. Examples of issues that can be highlighted to the respective person are target sales not achieved for the week, layout stores, stock loss and etc
- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results by completing Operation Visit Checklist;
- Participating in pre-opening & opening of new outlet within his region.
- Liaising with Business Development and/or Administration Department on the issuance of the necessary licenses/permits for the operation of the new outlet in his Region and to follow up with the relevant authorities, if required by the management
- To ensure the display and layout in the outlets are in accordance with the Visual Merchandise Guideline which had been set up by Marketing Department
**2. **Merchandise**
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control based on stock ratio provided by Commercial Department;
- Organizing special promotions, displays and events as shown in Visual Merchandise guideline;
- Secures merchandise and assets by ensuring security systems and measures are well functioned;
- To ensure that a system established for every store in managing stock loss and collection of sales proceeds are adhered to strictly
- To report to the management on any stock loss or shortage of sales collection immediately upon discovery the problem
- To ensure the stocks are sufficient at all times and to arrange for timely delivery of the same to the outlets concerned.
- To immediately report to the COM/management on insufficient or unavailable stocks with recommended action.
**3. **Human**
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency;
- Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development;
- Ensuring safety to employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintaining staff discipline by ensuring all staffs follows the company’s policies
- To manage manpower strength efficiently within the budget allocated by the company
**4. **Finance**
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits as required in KPI;
- Ensuring cost cutting measures are in place as required in KPI.
- Ensuring outlet daily sales to be banked in as per procedure
- Exercising controls for operating expenses which may lead to the decrement of the said expenses e.g utilities, printing etc.
**5. Any Ad Hoc task assign by management**
- To perform any other duties which had been directed by the company from time to time
**Salary**: From RM2,200.00 per month
