**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for providing sound and well-researched investment advice to Relationship Managers (Private Bankers) in areas of specialization (Equity Linked Investments (ELI) and Direct Equity).
- Prepare reports on investment ideas for ELI and Direct Equity based on fundamental analysis.
- Communicate ELI and direct equity investment ideas to Private Bankers via various channels such as the daily publications.
- Work closely with the Equity Derivatives Group (EDG) team from Group Treasury & Markets department to improve sales efforts.
- Work closely with the Equity team to generate ideas for the equity model portfolio and equity-linked structured products.
- Monitor and review ELI recommendations and propose follow-up strategies in consideration of market and company developments.
- Periodically review and propose tailored strategies to optimize clients’ portfolios to align to our house views and model portfolio.
- Assess potential IPOs, placements and other cash calls in support of CIMB ECM and clients.
- Keep abreast of market and company developments through engagements with analysts/company management/industry experts.
- Keep the sales team updated on key market developments and outlook for equity and help strengthen Private Bankers’ knowledge and understanding of the various ELI products’ risk reward.
- Assist sales teams to meet revenue and AUM targets set by management and promote CIMB group’s affluent banking business.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Head of PB and/or Unit Head.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory framework / guidelines and the Group’s policies and procedures.
