This role you will have at Hayat Technologies Sdn. Bhd. provides a unique opportunity for a high performing individual to have broad impact on society. You will work very closely and directly with senior management of the company and most importantly, a bunch of talented and diverse group of healthcare professionals, IT specialists, engineers, business and product managers, government officials and cross-border industry experts.

**In working closely with industry experts, you will be**:

- Supervising and managing subordinates within Legal and Compliance Department.
- Negotiating, drafting, preparing, and reviewing e-commerce platform policies, data protection policies, terms of use, data transfer agreements, service agreements, license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documentation required for online platforms and a public healthcare and tech company.
- Reviewing corporate documents from company’s appointed company secretary and liaising with them directly for Management approval.
- Directly advising Management and operational teams on variety of legal issues.
- Conducting legal research on issues relating to company’s daily operations.
- Liaising and communicating with partners, commercial clients, and government authorities.
- Establishing, advising on, and assisting with the setting up of compliance and operational functions within the legal department, execution of projects and in relation to the company’s business.
- Developing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance to standard operating procedure of Legal and Compliance Department.
- Assisting the relevant departments in reviewing, preparing and/or drafting of company’s policies, standard operating procedures and/or guidance notes.
- Providing support and advice to the Human Resources Department and Management for matters relating to industrial relations in ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment laws and assisting with the drafting and reviewing of employment agreements, notices and other relevant documentation.

**Job requirements and preferable individual qualities**:

- Bachelor’s Degree of Law
- Minimum four (4) years of PQE or experience as an in-house legal counsel of a tech company or equivalent fields.
- Passionate and driven in promoting the welfare of people.
- Extensive experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing of commercial agreements.
- Solution-driven: Practical and resourceful, able to identify risks, and formulate practical solutions in areas where there may not be precedents.
- Very confident and able to think quickly on their feet.
- Able to assist with ad-hoc requests from other departments and team members.
- Easy-going, open-minded, and quick to pick up ideas and concepts.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Have work experience in the Health Tech/ IT field.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
